SEEMS EASY ENOUGH, RIGHT????'

This is my experience and MINE only. I have heard of others who have had great success and love the products, but my experience was not so fun! The first day I followed the instructions as noted above, took my pill, put on my patch, drank the shake, and went about my day. About three hours after doing this I started to get a pounding headache, feeling weak and exhausted. I figured it was just me or just tired from work. The second day I did everything as I was supposed to. AGAIN I got a pounding headache, weakness, and fatigue. I questioned why I was feeling this way. I thought maybe I was coming down with something. The only this I did different was use the THRIVE products. My headache lasted the entire 3 days I used this product. I was weak and very tired. Most people claim to have energy and mental clarity I, however, did not!

 Contraindications for the Thrive patch:

FORSKOLIN
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Not enough is known about the use of forskolin during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Stay on the safe side and avoid use.

Bleeding disorders: There is some evidence that forskolin might increase the likelihood of bleeding.

Heart disease (cardiovascular disease): There is some concern that forskolin might interfere with treatment for diseases of the heart and blood vessels (cardiovascular disease) and could worsen them. Forskolin might significantly lower blood pressure. Use forskolin with caution if you have a heart problem.

Surgery: Forskolin might increase bleeding during and after surgery. Stop using forskolin at least 2 weeks before a scheduled surgery.

GREEN COFFEE
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: There isn't enough reliable information about the safety of taking green coffee if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Stay on the safe side and avoid use.

Abnormally high levels of homocysteine. Consuming a high dose of chlorogenic acid for a short duration has caused increased plasma homocysteine levels, which may be associated with conditions such as heart disease.

Anxiety disorders: The caffeine in green coffee might make anxiety worse.

Bleeding disorders: There is some concern that the caffeine in green coffee might make bleeding disorders worse.

Diabetes: Some research suggests that caffeine contained in green coffee might change the way people with diabetes process sugar. Caffeine has been reported to cause increases as well as decreases in blood sugar. Use caffeine with caution if you have diabetes and monitor your blood sugar carefully.

Diarrhea: Green coffee contains caffeine. The caffeine in coffee, especially when taken in large amounts, can worsen diarrhea.

Glaucoma: Taking caffeine which is contained in green coffee can increases pressure inside the eye. The increase starts within 30 minutes and lasts for at least 90 minutes.

Heart disease: When taken at high doses over a short time period, a certain component of green coffee may increase the levels of a particular amino acid in the body (known as homocysteine) that is associated with an increased risk of heart disease. Also, other components of green coffee (known as diterpenes) have been associated with increased cholesterol levels, which are also associated with an increased risk of heart disease.

High blood pressure: Taking caffeine found in green coffee might increase blood pressure in people with high blood pressure. However, this effect might be less in people who consume caffeine from coffee or other sources regularly.

High cholesterol. Certain components of unfiltered coffee have been shown to increase cholesterol levels. These components can be found in green coffee as well. However, it is unclear if green coffee can also cause increased cholesterol levels.

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS): Green coffee contains caffeine. The caffeine in coffee, especially when taken in large amounts, can worsen diarrhea and might worsen symptoms of IBS.

Thinning bones (osteoporosis): Caffeine from green coffee and other sources can increase the amount of calcium that is flushed out in the urine. This might weaken bones. If you have osteoporosis, limit caffeine consumption to less than 300 mg per day (approximately 2-3 cups of regular coffee). Taking calcium supplements may help to make up for calcium that is lost. Postmenopausal women who have an inherited condition that keeps them from processing vitamin D normally, should be especially cautious when using caffeine.

GARCINIA
Garcinia is POSSIBLY SAFE for most people when taken by mouth for 12 weeks or less. Long-term safety is unknown. Garcinia can cause nausea, digestive tract discomfort, and headache.
Special Precautions & Warnings:
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Not enough is known about the use of garcinia during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Stay on the safe side and avoid use.

WHITE WILLOW BARK
Gastric ulcer and hypotensive patients
People who are taking anti-asthmatic and anti‐hypertensive medicine should consult their health care provider

Remember if you try this product to look at the ingredients in the patch. If you have allergies to any of these be very careful before starting. Hopefully others have a better experience than I did. I WILL NOT be trying this product again, I prefer good ol healthy eating and exercise!

3 day refresh

I absolutely loved doing this! I was worried about how I would like the products. The shakeology was amazing,  I just mixed it with almond milk. Not too clumpy and actually taste very good.
The vanilla fresh was pretty scent too! Not as tasty as the shakeology but ok. The fiber sweep, YUCK! It did it's job but it was VERY hard to drink. I felt like I was chewing on a wet haystack.
I ended up loosing 4 pounds total I never felt like I was missing out on meals and didn't have any cravings. The rules are very easy to follow!

I ❤️ salads! My love affair.

I think you get the hint! I love my salads and fill them with different veggies, protein, olives, seeds and nuts! The dressing is what used to kill me but I found that garlic flavored rice vinegar is delish! I splash on that then season with whatever I have laying around that looks good. The rice vinegar is only 20 calories per tablespoon without the added fat. Next time give it a try.

The Fitbit app allows you to keep track of everything on your phone and emails you weekly updates to let you know how many steps, exercises, food you ate, calories burnt, hours you slept, mile you walked, ect..

Fitbit surge will run you about 250$ from your local retailor. Pretty pricey!

Can use the fitbit through your computer or Iphone to track fitness.

So I purchased the Fitbit surge a few weeks ago to start using. Its pretty fun to see how many steps you take , hear rate, hours slept, and so on. When you set it up, you need to go through a lap top or home computer to set up an account and link your email address. Then you can set it to your iphone by downloading the app and then using wifi you can search for your fitbit and it will connect automatically. It will work with iphone 5s and newer. Unfortunately I haven't been able to access all the fun stuff with my phone because weeks ago I had to downgrade to iphone 4 because mine smashed. The fitbit still tracks everything and emails me averages weekly, but I have to sync it every morning through the computer.  The Fitbit has the ability to show you who is calling, texts received, and will allow you to set alarms to wake you by vibrating on your wrist to wake you.

When I get a newer iphone I will update you on how it works with the phone.
I love this fitbit. It really encouraged me to take more steps, watch what I put in my mouth, try and get more sleep ( on average I sleep 5 hours  and wake between 11-16 times a night) very interesting to see what you do during your sleep with this watch. I also like to look down and see how many steps I take at work. Its amazing because there have been nights that I put a total of 15,000 steps just at work!!!

The downfalls are; unstylish and bulky. The first week I couldn't stand looking at my wrist the watch is so big its hard to wear. It put a lot of pressure on my wrist because the back of the watch has a small area that is tracking everything and it digs into the skin. Being an RN I was looking forward to using the watch to count pulse, heart rate, ect.., but there is no way to access a second hand . To set the second tracker is too time consuming, so it forced my to bring in my trusty second watch to use at work. This watch was definitely not designed with women or nurses in mind. After the first week I just got use to wearing the watch and I don't mind it so much now, but I still wish it was smaller for women.

In all I really love this fitbit but hate the price. I will update more on the fitbit once i get a newer phone. I am interested to see how the watch works with the phone texts, calls, and emails!!

This is new for me so bear with me as this IS my first blog post EVER! I love trying and testing new products and there have been many times when friends and others will ask how I liked the product, what my feelings were about it, if it was too costly, and if its worth it. I decided to start a blog to let everyone know what I am trying and what is working for me.

UPCOMING PRODUCTS TO BE TESTED: I a currently using the new Fitbit, Beachbodys 3 day reset, Merle Normans night time recovery cream, and will start trying the new THRIVE patches this weekend. Will keep the updates to a minimum and will start posting results next week.
